The 2021 Enduro Western Cape series was set to kick off with the first event in May this year but, due to the timeline predictions for the 3rd wave of the Coronavirus in South Africa, the series will be shifted to later in the year. This will be in order to avoid building up to the event and then having to cancel or postpone it because of tightened restrictions. This will hopefully result in less uncertainty around the events and more fun to be had!

2021 Enduro Western Cape Series Date Changes

The first EWC race of the year will thus be set for the 25th of July. We will be announcing the location of the revised first and third events (31 October) closer to the time, keeping you on your toes! The second location on the other hand, we’re giving you a heads up so you can prepare accordingly.

Round 2 will take place in the big mountains of Jonkershoek on the 5th of September. This round will be an EWS qualifier with EWS points up for grabs! Make sure you’re there and ready to send it! Jonkershoek was recently burned by severe fires and thus the trails have been damaged. That being said, we are in contact with the relevant people and they say that the trails will be ready to race by then!

We’re looking forward to laying it down in July! Keep on pedalling until then, it’s lining up to be a rad season of enduro racing!
