After having the most incredible gravel cycling experiences riding the Karoo Crossing and Cross Cape routes by Cape Cycle Routes, it was time for us to venture into the arid and majestic Cederberg Wilderness Area to ride the journey that is the Cederberg Circuit!
Join Doug and J-Dogg as they reminisce on the adventure, share a laugh over some of the funny moments, discuss essentials for a tour of this nature, and what they would do differently next time!
More about the Cederberg Circuit and our trip!
Situated just over 2 hours drive north of the City of Cape Town, it is within easy reach for a weekend mission and packed with spectacular scenery, quaint towns, hiking trails, interesting people, heritage sites, and of course… gravel roads!
Curious to find out how we planned and rode this adventure? Watch this video where we unpack the planning, kit essentials, bike choice, and other gear that we used to enjoy the majestic Cederberg Circuit!
