For those of you who might not be well acquainted with the term, Enduro, it is a form of mountain biking that combines elements of downhill and cross-country mountain biking. It involves riding over rugged terrain, navigating steep descents, technical climbs, and varied trails that test a rider’s skill, endurance, and bike handling abilities.
Unlike downhill racing, enduro emphasises both the timed downhill sections, where speed and precision are crucial, and the untimed uphill transfers, which require stamina and efficiency. This blend of high-speed action and physical endurance makes enduro mountain biking a favourite among riders seeking an adrenaline fuelled adventure and a comprehensive test of their mountain biking prowess.
