When I signed up for the Wines2Whales stage race, specifically the e-bike edition, I was initially sceptical about using an e-bike. “Isn’t that cheating?” I wondered. However, by the end of the race, I realised how invaluable the e-bike was, especially during challenging moments. Day 1’s heavy hail and mud tested my endurance, but my e-bike’s performance kept me in the race and allowed me to fully experience the adventure.
