Lucy Bartholomew is an absolute icon in the trail running world!
When Lucy was just 15, she jumped into the ultra-running scene by running her first 100km with her dad, Ash Bartholomew. That was when she fell in love with the sport and started traveling the world to race.
Some of her big achievements include placing second in the 80km Marathon du Mont-Blanc, winning the 100km Ultra-Trail Cape Town, and finishing third at the Western States 100 in 2018.
Fast forward to 2023, and Lucy nailed a top-10 finish at UTMB and then went on to compete in the Ironman World Championships in Kona. This impressive feat made her one of only two women to race both UTMB and the Ironman World Championships in the same year.
Living in Australia, Lucy runs to connect with nature and her community, and she’s known for her bright outlook on life, her determined spirit, and her knack for enjoying the journey, even when it gets tough.
